How to Share Your Calendar in Outlook for Windows 11

Sharing your calendar in the new Outlook for Windows app makes it easy to coordinate with friends or coworkers. It also works with Gmail accounts. You can let others see your appointments or give them permission to add new ones.

Sharing your calendar helps you avoid double-booking meetings. It keeps everyone on the same page and saves time by letting others see when you are free or busy.

Once you finish, the person you invited will get an email. After they accept, your calendar will show up in their Outlook app so they can see your schedule.

How to share your calendar

You do not need special permissions for this; your standard user account is enough.

How to change or stop sharing

If you change your mind, go back to the Shared calendars page in the settings. Select the calendar you shared. You can change the permission levels or click the trash bin icon to stop sharing entirely.
