This feature is available in Windows 11, but only for computers with GPU that supports Hardware Accelerated Scheduling. Windows 11 will offload most of the GPU scheduling to a dedicated GPU-based scheduling processor when your device supports it.

This a feature that isn’t new to Windows 11. It was introduced in Windows 10.

If your device supports it, this can improve your system performance. It is turned off by default, but you can enable and test it.

Windows 11 has a centralized location for the majority of its settings. From system configurations to creating new users and updating Windows, all can be done from the System Settings pane.

To get to System Settings, you can use the Windows key + I shortcut or click on Start ==> Settings, as shown in the image below:

Alternatively, you can use the search box on the taskbar and search for Settings. Then select to open it.

Windows Settings pane should look similar to the image below. In Windows Settings, click System, and select Display on the right pane of your screen, as shown in the image below.

On the Display settings pane, under Related settings, click Graphics as highlighted below.

Then select Change default graphic settings as highlighted below.

Under default graphics settings, toggle the button to the On position to enable Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling.

That should do it.
