How to Install Additional Languages in Voice Access for Windows 11
Voice Access in Windows 11 lets you control your PC using spoken commands instead of a mouse or keyboard. Microsoft includes speech packs for regional dialects like UK, India, New Zealand, Canada, and Australia to make voice recognition more accurate.
You can add extra languages to Voice Access in a few clicks whenever your PC picks the wrong speech pack or you want to switch regions.
Open Voice Access settings from the toolbar and navigate to the Language section. Select “Available for Download,” choose your desired language, and click Download to install the language pack. You can then switch to the new language immediately.
How to Install a New Language for Voice Access

- Look for the toolbar. Once Voice Access is running, a small toolbar appears at the top of your screen.
- Click the Settings icon. It looks like a gear on this toolbar.
- Find the Language section. Click on it to open the language options.
- Look for “Available for Download”. You will see a list of languages you can add.
- Choose your language. Click on the language you want to install.
