Windows comes with a standard desktop background. Users can change or replace that background with a custom picture, slideshow, or Windows Spotlight image.
Besides changing the desktop background, users can also remove the background so that only a solid black color is displayed.
When you disable the desktop background, your computer will show a solid black color. Enabling background use will let you customize the background with your own settings.

As mentioned above, you can add or remove the desktop background in Widnows 11. Below is how to do that.
First, open the Control Panel app.
Once opened, navigate to the Ease of Access -> Ease of Access Center settings page.
Control Panel -> Ease of Access -> Ease of Access Center
Next, click the “Make the computer easier to see” link from the Ease of Access Center settings pane.
On the next page, locate the “Remove background image (where available)” setting and check to disable the background image use. Uncheck to allow background image use.
Click the OK button to save your changes and exit.
Your computer background will look similar to the image below when you disable background image use.
