How to Change the Taskbar Clock to 12 or 24 Hour Format in Windows 11
You change the Windows 11 taskbar clock to 12 or 24-hour format by adjusting a specific setting within the Windows Registry.
This lets you customize how time is displayed directly on your taskbar, switching between the familiar AM/PM notation or the military-style 24-hour clock.
For instance, you can easily toggle between ‘3:00 PM’ and ’15:00′ for your convenience.
This simple modification ensures your PC’s clock display matches your personal preference.
You can change the Windows 11 taskbar clock format through either Settings or Control Panel. Navigate to Time & language > Language & region > Regional format and select your desired short time style. Alternatively, open Control Panel, go to Region, and adjust the Short time format.
