How to Show or Hide the Sidebar in Windows 11 Copilot
Windows 11 Copilot is an AI assistant built into your computer. Newer computers even have a special Copilot key on the keyboard to open it instantly. Why use it? It helps you search, write, and manage tasks faster. What happens when you use these steps? You get a cleaner workspace by hiding or showing the history sidebar.
When Copilot is installed on Windows, you can enable or disable it, open Copilot when Windows starts, Pin or Unpin the Copilot side panel, Resize the Copilot side panel, delete chat history in Copilot, create a desktop shortcut, and more.
Recent updates to the Copilot app (version 1.25023.101.0 and higher) changed how the screen looks. You now have a sidebar that shows your past chats. You can hide this bar if you want more room on your screen.
