Option 2Using Command Prompt (Advanced)

This method uses the command prompt to change a setting. This requires administrator privileges.

  1. Open Command Prompt as administrator. To do this, search for ‘cmd’ in the Start menu, right-click on Command Prompt, and select ‘Run as administrator’.
  2. To Add Bing Web Suggested Search Results:

    Type the following command and press Enter:
    🗝️Registry
    REG ADD "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Search" /V BingSearchEnabled /T REG_DWORD /D 1 /F

    This is the default setting.
  3. To Remove Bing Web Suggested Search Results:

    Type the following command and press Enter:

    REG ADD "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Search" /V BingSearchEnabled /T REG_DWORD /D 0 /F
