How to Find Edge’s Location Settings

Controlling which websites access your location in Microsoft Edge is done through the browser’s privacy settings. This is where you’ll find the main Edge location settings to manage all permissions for websites wanting to know where you are.

1. Open Microsoft Edge.
2. Click the three dots ... in the top-right corner. This opens a menu.
3. Select Settings from the menu. You can also type edge://settings/privacy edge://settings/ in the address bar and press Enter.
4. In ⚙️ the Settings tab, click Privacy, search, and services on the left side.
5. Scroll down on the right side until you see Site permissions.
6. Look through the list and click on Location. This will show you all the location settings.

Method A: While on the Website

1. Go to the website in Microsoft Edge.
2. Look to the left of the address bar. You will see an icon. It might look like a padlock, an ‘i’ in a circle, or a warning sign.
3. Click that icon. A small menu will appear.
4. Look for Permissions for this site. Click it.
5. Find Location in the list of permissions.
