Search suggestions in Windows 11 Copilot show you ideas as you type.

Copilot is Windows’ AI helper that chats with you to change settings and manage tasks. A Copilot button appears on your taskbar on compatible PCs, and you open it with that button or by pressing Windows key + C.

Recent Windows versions changed Copilot to act like a regular app, letting you move and resize it easily. By default, this helpful feature of showing search suggestions is turned on.

If you find these suggestions distracting or want more control, you can easily turn them off.

⚡ Quick Answer

Open the Copilot app, click your profile picture, then Settings, and More. Adjust the Search suggestions checkbox to enable or disable them, and click Save.
