How to Choose which Apps to get Notifications from in Phone Link app
This guide explains how to pick which apps send alerts from your Android phone to your 11 PC using the Phone Link app.
Why do this?
You might want to see alerts for important apps like text messages or email, but hide alerts for games or social media. Customizing your settings helps you focus on what matters and removes unwanted distractions.
What happens when done?
Your PC will only show notification banners or feed alerts for the specific apps you have enabled. This keeps your computer screen clean while keeping you connected to your most important apps.
With the Phone Link app on your PC linked to your phone, you can see your mobile alerts on your desktop. After you provide permission on your Android device, your phone alerts will show up on your PC. Any alerts you clear on your PC will also disappear from your phone.
Steps to manage your notifications
- Open the Phone Link app on your PC.
- Click the Settings (gear) icon.
- Select Features in the middle menu.
- Click Notifications on the right to open the list.

- Click Choose which apps I get notifications from to see your app list.
- For each app, choose Notifications feed + banner, Notifications feed, or Disabled from the drop-down menu.
Note: You will only see apps here that have already sent a notification to your PC. If an app hasn’t sent an alert yet, it won’t appear in this list.

Summary
By following these steps, you gain full control over your Android notifications on Windows. You can easily toggle alerts on or off for any app, ensuring your PC stays organized and only shows the information you want to see.
