Add or Remove Languages in Microsoft Edge Browser

Introduction
Microsoft Edge Microsoft Edge browser is the default browser for Windows. You can switch to their preferred or favorite browser your language settings at any time. Why change these settings? You might want to browse sites in a different language or ensure your spell-checker works correctly.
What happens when you adjust these settings? Edge becomes better at reading the web in the way you prefer.
Edge now makes this easier than ever. The browser automatically detects when a webpage is in a foreign language. You will see a small translation icon appear in the address bar. Clicking this icon allows you to translate the page instantly. This saves you from manually searching for translation tools.
Add or remove supported languages in Edge
You can add or remove languages in Edge whenever you like. Why do this? It helps you read foreign websites more easily. What happens when you do this? Edge will prioritize those languages when displaying websites and checking your spelling.
Note: The language at the very top of your list is the one Edge uses for the browser interface menus and for checking your spelling. Make sure your primary language is at the top.
Follow these steps:
- Open the Microsoft Edge browser.
- Click the Settings and more (three dots icon) in the top right corner.
- Select Settings from the menu.
- On the left side, click Languages.

- Check the box next to your chosen language and click Add.

Remove a preferred language
If you no longer need a language, you can remove it to keep your settings tidy.
- Go to Settings and click Languages.
- Find the language you want to remove under Preferred languages.
- Click the three dots next to that language.
- Select Remove from the menu.

That is all you need to do! Your browser will now reflect these changes immediately.
