Enable or Disable Text Prediction in Microsoft Edge

You enable or disable text prediction in Microsoft Edge to speed up your typing with AI-powered suggestions.

Text prediction is a feature that guesses the words or phrases you are likely to type next, displaying them as a light gray suggestion. Microsoft Edge, built on the Chromium engine, offers this helpful tool.

This feature helps you finish sentences more quickly and maintain focus by reducing the amount of typing you need to do. To accept a suggestion, simply press the Tab or Right Arrow key.
