Use Your Android Camera as a Webcam on Windows 11
Your Android camera can now act as a webcam on Windows 11, letting you use your phone or tablet for video calls and streaming.
This new feature, part of Windows 11’s “Mobile devices” settings, connects your Android device to your PC.
You can easily connect your phone by going to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Mobile devices and turning on “Allow this PC to access your mobile devices.” This connection lets you access recent photos directly on your PC using the Snipping Tool.
Beyond photos, you can wirelessly use your Android phone’s camera with high quality. You can switch between front and back cameras, pause the video feed, and use your phone’s camera effects.
This feature is currently rolling out and is available for Windows Insiders before a wider release.
Connect your Android phone to your Windows 11 PC via Wi-Fi. Open the Link to Windows app on your phone and the Cross-device experience host on your PC. Select your phone as the camera source in your video conferencing app.
