How to Pin Recent Folders in Quick Access on Windows 11
Quick Access in File Explorer pins your most-used folders to the top of the sidebar so you can open them in one click instead of digging through deep nested drives. Windows automatically tracks up to 20 frequent folders and 10 recent files, but pinning lets you keep your favorite spots in place permanently.
To pin recent folders to Quick Access in Windows 11, open File Explorer , paste shell:::{22877a6d-37a1-461a-91b0-dbda5aaebc99} into the address bar, press Enter, click the three dots menu, and select “Pin to Quick access.
You can set this up in seconds to keep active project folders right where you can see them every time you open a window.
