How to Enable or Disable Keep Mouse Indicator Visible until Dismissed in Windows 11

Step 1Open Your 🪟 Windows 11 Settings Menu

Opening the Windows 11 Settings menu is the first step to changing your computer options. Press the Win and I on your keyboard at the same time to open the main settings window, then click on the Accessibility tab on the left side of the screen to find your mouse controls.

Change the value data from 0 to 1 to turn the feature on, and then click the OK button.

Step 5Restart Your Computer to Apply Changes

Restarting your computer ensures that Windows applies your new registry changes and accessibility settings. Open your Start menu, click the power icon, and select restart so your desktop loads again with the persistent mouse indicator fully working.
