How to Enable Photo Notifications on Windows 11
You can enable photo notifications on Windows 11 to see alerts when you take new pictures on your phone. The Phone Link app for Windows 11 connects your Android device to your PC, allowing it to display a notification immediately after you snap a photo or capture a screenshot.
This feature, available since Windows 11 build 23619 (Dev), even lets you open these images directly in the Snipping Tool for instant editing.
To begin, ensure you allow your PC to access your mobile devices within the Settings menu. Navigate to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Mobile devices, and toggle the “Allow this PC to access your mobile devices” option ON.
Navigate to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Mobile devices. Ensure “Allow this PC to access your mobile devices” is on, then toggle “Get new photo notifications” to On. Your PC will then alert you when new photos or screenshots are taken on your phone.
Where are the notification settings in 🪟 Windows 11?
Turn notifications on or off Select Start > Settings > System > Notifications.
