How to Reset Network Data Usage in Windows 11
Windows 11 keeps track of how much internet data you use over a 30-day period. This is helpful for seeing which apps use the most data and whether you are using your Wi-Fi Wi-Fi or Ethernet Ethernet connection.
Why do this? Monitoring your data helps you stay within your monthly limits and spot apps that might be using more data than expected.
What happens when done? Your data usage counter will return to zero, allowing you to track your usage fresh from that moment forward.
How to Reset Network Data Usage
Windows resets this data automatically every 30 days. However, if you want to clear it manually, follow these steps. Note: You must be logged in as an administrator to perform these actions.
1. Open the Settings app. You can do this by pressing the Windows key + I on your keyboard or by clicking Start and selecting Settings.

2. In the Settings menu, click on Network & internet on the left side of the screen.

3. On the right side, click on the Data usage tab.

4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. Find the Reset usage stats section and click the Reset button.

Repeat these steps for any other network connections if you wish to clear those as well.
Summary
Windows 11 makes it easy to track your internet consumption. While the system clears your data history automatically every month, you can use the Settings menu to reset your stats manually whenever you need to start fresh. This is a great way to keep an eye on your monthly bandwidth usage.
