How to Inspect Installed Apps on Your Device in Windows 11 Settings
The Installed apps page in Windows 11 Settings shows how much storage each app uses and when it was installed. You can use it to find large programs, spot apps you forgot about, and decide what to remove to free up disk space. It works the same on Home and Pro, and you don’t need administrator rights to look at the list.
Open Settings , select Apps Installed apps, then click the Sort by dropdown near the top right. Choose Size (large to small) or an install date option to sort your programs. App size and installation date appear in small text below each app name.
How to Access Installed Apps and Features
Settings is the main place to view your software inventory. You can open it from the keyboard or from the Start menu .

Then select Uninstall and follow the prompts. Some apps built into Windows won't offer this option.
Using Alternative Commands to Open App Settings
You can also open the Installed apps page directly from the Run dialog. This skips the clicks through Settings and is handy when you check the list often. It works through a Settings URI command.
- Press the Windows key + R at the same time. The Run dialog box opens in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
