How to Enable Single Click to Open Items in Windows 11
This guide shows you how to change your Windows 11 settings so you can open your files and folders with a single click instead of two.
Open File Explorer, click the three dots menu, select Options, and then choose “Single-click to open an item” under the General tab. Click Apply and OK to save the changes.
Why use single-click?
By default, Windows 11 uses a double-click to open things. This helps prevent you from opening files accidentally. However, clicking twice can feel slow sometimes. If you’re looking to speed things up, single-click is definitely faster. It can even make your computer feel more like a web browser.
What happens when you are done?
When you switch to single-click mode in Windows 11, your computer opens files and folders with just one click, making things faster.

In my previous OS I could go to the very lower right of a file and click on an up or down arrow to move exactly one full page. Windows 11 does not have that. Can i add it somehow?
