How to Turn Microsoft Account Notifications On or Off

Here’s an easy way to control these notifications:

Step 1Open ⚙️ the Settings App

1. Click the ⊞ Start menu (Windows icon) and select Settings.
2. Or press Windows key + I on your keyboard to ⚙️ open Settings directly.

Step 2Navigate to Personalization

1. In Settings, click on Personalization on the left side.

1. Double-click the new Start_AccountNotifications value and set:

   • 1 to turn notifications on
   • 0 to turn notifications off
2. Click OK and close the Registry Editor.
