This post shows students and new users stop to enable or disable Pinch to Zoom on touchpad to scroll in Windows 11. This feature uses your device’s touchpad and allows the option to zoom in or out of a picture by moving two fingers towards or away from each other.
If your Windows 11 device has a built-in precision touchpad, you can change its settings to allow click actions that can mimic a wired or wireless mouse actions.
Windows also allows users to turn off or disable these actions from the Settings app. If you have a mouse connected to your laptop and you rather use it, then disabling the touchpad actions will save you some annoyances.
Other settings one can perform on device’s touchpad are; turn on or off on-screen touchpad, use touchpad gestures, turn off touchpad clicks, tap touchpad with a singer finger to single-click, enable two fingers on touchpad to right-click, tap twice and drag to multi-select item, changing touchpad cursor speed or disable your device touchpad altogether and more.
Below is how to enable or disable pinch to zoom on touchpad in Windows 11.

Windows 11 has a centralized location for majority of its settings app. From system configurations to creating new users and updating Windows, all can be done from the System Settings pane.
To get to System Settings, you can use the Windows key + i shortcut or click on Start ==> Settings as shown in the image below:
Alternatively, you can use the search box on the taskbar and search for Settings. Then select to open it.
Windows Settings pane should look similar to the image below. In Windows Settings, click Bluetooth & devices and select the Touchpad tile on the right.
On the Bluetooth & devices > Touchpad settings pane, under Gestures & interaction, select the scroll & zoom tile to expand.
Under Scroll & zoom, check (On – default) or uncheck the box next to the tile “Pinch to zoom” to enable or disable this feature.
