How to Change Language, Date & Time in Outlook on Windows 11
You change language, date, and time settings in Outlook on Windows 11 to personalize your email and calendar experience.
These settings control the display language for menus, the format for dates and times, and the time zone used for scheduling within your Outlook application.
For example, ensuring your time zone is set correctly in the latest Outlook for Windows versions prevents scheduling conflicts when collaborating with colleagues in different regions.
By adjusting these options, you make Outlook work for you, aligning its display with your preferences and geographic location.
Open Outlook, click the Settings gear icon, go to General, select Language and time, choose your language, adjust date/time formats if needed, and click Save. This only affects Outlook, not your Windows operating system.
Why is my Outlook in the wrong Language?
Manage your language settings in classic Outlook Open Outlook and select the File tab then select Options > Language. Under Set the Office Language Preferences > Office display language select Add a Language to install your desired languages.
