Microsoft Edge can suggest content from your clipboard in the address bar, making searches faster.
This feature lets the Edge browser show you things you’ve recently copied, like links or text, right when you start typing in the address bar.
Microsoft Edge clipboard suggestions are controlled by a specific setting that users can turn on or off. This setting functions on both Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems. Users can choose whether Microsoft Edge displays content copied to the clipboard as suggestions directly within the browser's address bar.
The address bar is where you type website addresses or search terms.
By default, Edge offers suggestions based on your typing, but it can also use clipboard content if you allow it.
Go to Edge Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Search and connected experiences > Address bar and search. Toggle “Allow Edge to suggest using my copied text and links” on or off. For system-wide changes, administrator access is required to modify the Windows Registry.
