Energy Saver is a feature in Windows 11 that helps your computer use less power, especially when you’re not doing much with it. This means your laptop’s battery can last longer and your desktop can save electricity.

2. Look for the Energy saver button and click it to turn Energy Saver on or off.

Using Windows Registry Editor (Advanced)

If you’re comfortable with advanced settings, you can turn Energy Saver on or off using the Registry Editor. Please be careful and follow the steps exactly:

1. Open Registry Editor by typing regedit in the Start menu search and pressing Enter.
2. Go to this folder (called a key):
   

   ComputerHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlPower

   
   
3. In the right panel, find EcoModeState (a DWORD value). If you don’t see it, right-click inside the panel, choose New > DWORD (32-bit) Value, and name it EcoModeState.
4. Double-click EcoModeState and set its value to:
   • 1 to turn Energy Saver ON
   • 2 to turn Energy Saver OFF
5. Click OK and close the Registry Editor.
6. Restart your computer to apply the changes.
