How to Enable or Disable Restore Pages Dialog in Microsoft Edge
The “Restore pages” dialog in Microsoft Edge lets you choose whether the browser automatically brings back your open tabs after it crashes or restarts.
This prompt appears when Microsoft Edge, Windows 11’s main browser, closes unexpectedly. It offers a simple way to get all your tabs back.
You might want to turn this off if you prefer Edge to open a fresh new tab page instead of asking if you want to restore your old ones.
When you disable it, Edge opens a blank page and you’ll have to reopen tabs yourself.
