If you ever hold down a key on your keyboard and it starts repeating too fast or too slow, you can change how Windows handles this. This guide will help you adjust the time Windows waits before a key repeats (called the repeat delay) and how fast the key repeats (repeat rate).
What Do These Terms Mean?
- Repeat Delay: The pause between when you press and hold a key and when it starts repeating.
- Repeat Rate: How fast the character repeats when you hold the key down.
Option 1: Change Repeat Delay in Windows 11 Settings
