The Dark Mode feature in Outlook isn’t new. It was added when Microsoft unveiled a refreshed design, aligning the app closely with the overall system settings. Users can set Dark Mode within the app or use the system’s theme settings option to change it based on the Windows theme settings.

Enable or disable Dark Mode in the Outlook app
As mentioned above, users can switch to dark mode within the new Outlook app for a comfortable viewing experience.
Here’s how to do it.
First, open the new Outlook app on Windows 11.
You can do that by clicking Start -> All app -> Outlook app. Or use the Start menu search box to search for ‘Outlook ‘and open it.
When the app opens, click the
Settings button (gear on the top right) to proceed.
On the Settings page, click the ‘
General‘tab on the left sidebar.
Next, select the Appearance tab and click
Dark under Dark mode. Select
Use system settings if the Windows theme is set to Dark mode.
Additional modern and classic theme options are also available.
