This guide explains how to turn Dark Mode on or off in the Outlook app for Windows 11.
Important: First, check which version you are using. If you see a “New” badge on your Outlook icon, you are using the New Outlook. You can also check the toggle switch in the top right corner of the app. If the toggle is ON, you are in New Outlook. If you do not see this toggle, you are using Classic Outlook.

- On the left side of the screen, click on General.
- Select the Appearance tab.
- Under the Dark mode section, choose Dark. You can also select Use system settings if the Windows theme is set to Dark mode is preferred.
