This guide shows you how to let your Phone Link app use your mobile data plan instead of Wi-Fi. This is useful when you are on the go and need to access your phone apps from your computer.

Why use this feature?

Sometimes you might not have access to a stable Wi-Fi network. Enabling this feature ensures your phone and PC stay connected so you can keep using your apps, messages, and photos without interruption.

What happens when done?

Once enabled, your PC will pull data through your phone’s mobile connection. Keep in mind that this may use up your monthly mobile data allowance and could lead to extra charges from your service provider.

Windows allows users to use the Phone Link app  to link their phones and seamlessly communicate and transfer data.

The Phone Link app lets you instantly access your Android or iPhone apps from your PC. Then, using a Wi-Fi connection or Bluetooth connection, browse, play, order, chat, and more — all while using your PC’s larger screen and keyboard.
