This guide explains how to view your phone alerts right on your computer screen using the Phone Link app.

The Phone Link app is a tool for Windows that helps you link your phone and PC using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. It lets you see your phone’s info on your computer. You can use your PC’s big screen and keyboard to chat or browse while your phone stays in your pocket.

Why use Phone Link? It keeps you from getting distracted. You can choose how to display notifications, choose to hear audio from the PC or phone, turn allow the phone link app to sync over mobile without Wi-Fi on or off, unlink your phone from Windows, enable or disable auto startup for the phone link app, send and receive text messages from the app, add or remove Phone Link on the widgets board, turn dark mode on or off, open your phone screen in the app, turn show notifications for all my apps on or off, show notifications in the Phone Link feature feed, and enable or disable using Phone Link with Windows suggestions without picking up your phone.

What happens when you set up notifications? When you enable notifications in the Phone Link app, your phone alerts will pop up directly on your Windows desktop. You can choose to see these as banners or inside the main app window.

How to Pick Your Notification Settings

1. Open the Phone Link app.

3. Select Features from the menu.

On the right side of the screen, look for the Notifications section. Click the “Open notifications banners in” tile. You can now choose between:

• The mobile app
• Notification in Phone Link

Note: You must have admin privileges to change this setting without first enabling notifications for all apps.
