How to Turn On or Off Remembering Window Positions on Multiple Screens in Windows 11

If you use more than one screen with your Windows 11 PC, it can remember where you last opened your apps or folders on each screen. This means when you open them again, they pop up in the same spot. This guide will help you turn this feature on or off easily.

Why is this helpful?

When you unplug a laptop from extra monitors, Windows minimizes the windows on those monitors. When you plug the monitors back in, Windows places everything right where you left it, so you don’t have to move your windows around again.
