This article explains how to clear all messages and delete all chats from chats and groups in WhatsApp on Windows 11.
WhatsApp is a popular cross-platform messaging app that allows users to send text and voice messages, make voice and video calls, share files, and more.
One can configure many settings with the WhatsApp app in Windows, including starting the WhatsApp app at login, turning read receipts on or off, turning notifications on or off, turning automatic downloads on or off, and more.
When you install WhatsApp on your Windows device, you can use the app to clear all messages, delete all chats from chats and groups, and clear your history. Clearing all messages will clear them on your device. Receipts may still see those messages and chats on their devices.
Also, individual chats and status updates will be deleted from your Chats tab when you delete all messages. However, group chats will still be visible in your Chats tab, and you’ll still be part of them unless you exit them.
There could be many reasons why someone might want to delete all messages from chats and groups in WhatsApp. It could be for privacy reasons if someone wants to clear their chat history or to create more space on their device.
Deleting messages can also help improve the performance of the app. Whatever the reason, WhatsApp makes it easy to delete messages from chats and groups.
