How to Enable or Disable Zoom Auto-Start in Windows 11
You can enable or disable Zoom’s auto-start feature in Windows 11 to control if it launches automatically when you sign in.
Zoom auto-start determines if the Zoom desktop client opens as soon as your Windows 11 PC boots up and you log in.
For instance, if you rely on Zoom daily for meetings, enabling auto-start saves you valuable time. Conversely, disabling it for less frequent use helps your PC start faster by reducing background processes.
After you adjust this setting, Zoom will either launch immediately upon your Windows 11 login or wait for you to open it manually.
Open the Zoom app, click the gear icon for Settings, and then in the General tab, check or uncheck “Start Zoom when I start Windows.” Alternatively, open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), go to Startup apps, find Zoom, right-click, and select Disable.
