This post describes steps to enable or disable Typing insights in Windows 11.
Typing insights is a feature in Windows that uses Microsoft’s AI and ML systems to suggest words, autocorrect spelling mistakes, and interpret swiped typing while you use a touch or on-screen keyboard.
This feature is designed to help users save time and improve typing efficiency by learning from their typing habits and improving its algorithms. Typing insights can be enabled or disabled in Windows 11 settings.
Typing insights is tied directly to Windows’s Touch keyboard and on-screen keyboard. When you use a Touch or on-screen keyboard, as you type, Windows makes suggestions and spelling corrections so you can quickly finish a word.
The same goes for autocorrection. Windows will ensure that typos are highlighted and autocorrected while you type to save time and work efficiently.
