When you’re ready to install Ora for Linux, follow the steps below:
Ora doesn’t have a DEB package like typical Linux applications, or I couldn’t find it. You’ll need to use Snap package management to install it on Ubuntu.
Install Ora via Snap
Without a DEB installation package, your only choice to install Ora is via Snap. Snaps are containerized software packages that are simple to create and install. It’s a new way to manage packages on Linux systems and is supported by the top Linux distributions.
It’s probably the easiest way to install and manage packages on Linux systems, including Ubuntu.
To install the Ora task management app via Snap, run the commands below
sudo apt install snapd sudo snap install ora
When you’re done, Ora should be installed and ready to use… To launch it, go to the Activities Overview, search Ora, and find it.
