This post shows students and new users steps to install and use Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA) in Windows 11. Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA) is a feature that enables Windows 11 devices to run Android apps that are available from the Amazon Appstore.
As of now, Windows Subsystem for Android is currently only available for Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel in the United States. If you’re in another location, it may not be possible to install and use Windows 11 as of yet.
Also, only Android apps that are available in the Amazon Appstore are available to be installed on Windows 11. Apps from Google Play Store are not yet supported and will not be installed.
You may be able to enable WSA and install Android apps in any location once it leaves Preview and Beta stages. However, some requirements must be met before you can install it on a Windows 11 PC.
Below we’ll list the requirements and steps to install WSA on Windows 11.
How to use Windows Subsystem for Android in Windows 11
