Google Chrome is the best web browser, in my opinion. It’s by far better than Internet Explorer and possibly Firefox. I heard other folks claiming that Firefox is the best browser. I’m not going to argue that.
This blog post isn’t going to pick a winner or loser between Chrome and Firefox. They’re both excellent web browsers. However, Chrome is better, in my opinion.
For those using Chrome as their default browser, follow the steps below to learn how to reset Google Chrome quickly.
Chrome users can reset their browser by going to Settings –> Show advanced settings and clicking the Reset settings button. That’s the same process for resetting Google Chrome.
Then reset
This will reset your startup page, new tab page, search engine, and pinned tabs. It will also turn off all extensions and precise temporary data like cookies. However, your bookmarks, history, and saved passwords will not be cleared.
A quick way to reset Google Chrome is by copying the line below, pasting it into your browser’s box, and pressing the Enter key.
chrome://settings/resetProfileSettings
Doing the above step takes you directly to the Reset settings button. This is a great way to reset Google Chrome, mainly when browser issues occur.
So, if you’re having issues like spyware or unknown extensions installed in your browser, you should reset Chrome. Resetting Chrome deletes temporary cookies, turns off all attachments, and more. This is the quickest way to fix common issues with Chrome.
