This brief tutorial shows students and users how to add additional users in Windows 10.
With Windows 10, things have changed a bit, and some new users may be confused about these changes. The confusion comes from the new look and feel of the latest Windows 10 operating system.
The traditional way many used to be buried deep and hidden from the average users. Now there are new ways to do things, and we’ll show you here.
To do any administrative task in Windows requires administrative rights. You must be an administrator or remember the administers group.
An additional user account is an administrative task that requires administrative rights. You can not add users’ accounts if you are not an administrator.
To go Windows 10 Settings page
Many Windows 10 tasks can be performed from its setting page. To access the settings page, click Start –> Settings, as shown in the image below.

On the settings page, click Accounts.

Adding local user accounts
On the Account page, select Family & other people from the left links as shown in the image below, then click Add someone else to this PC.

On the next page, you’ll see a prompt asking for the user’s email address or phone. If you wish to create a Microsoft online account, type those and click.
However, we’re creating local accounts and not a Microsoft online account. To do that, click I don’t have this person’s sign-in information.

Next, Microsoft still wants you to create an online account. But, again, we’re not creating online versions here. To continue creating a local account, click Add a user without a Microsoft account link, as shown below.

On this last page is where you create the user account name and a password for the account.

Finally, click Next to complete the user account creation. You can log off or restart the computer from here, and a new user account should display on the login screen.
This is how to create a local account on Windows 10 PC.
Enjoy!
