If Adobe Reader isn’t helping you on the Ubuntu desktop, you may try Foxit Reader. It is a small, fast, and feature-rich PDF viewer that allows you to open, view, and print any PDF file. In addition, unlike other free readers, it enables you to create PDFs, participate in a shared review, and more.
This brief tutorial shows students and new users how to install Foxit Reader on Ubuntu 16.04 / 17.10 and 18.04 LTS desktops.
The software is available in 32-bit and 64-bit for Windows, Mac OS, and Linux systems. If your systems support 64-bit software, you should download and install that.

Why should I install a privative software on my GNU/Linux distro if there are lots of Free/Open Source software out there for viewing PDF documents and for basic editing as well ? Foxit Co. is known to use adware and malicious component on its “free” (zero-cost) software. Always check the uncompressed software programs from Foxit with an updated anti-virus/anti-malware programs, for instance at VirusTotal.com
good! info
